3-Year Manufacturer Warranty
Hikvision, Dahua, and Uniview products are covered by a 3-year back-to-base manufacturer warranty. Exceptions include:
- Access Controls, Intercoms, Alarms, and Display Monitors, are covered by a 2-year warranty.
- Spare parts, which are covered by a 12-month warranty.
This warranty is limited to the replacement of faulty items or parts. It does not cover damage resulting from incorrect installation or misuse of parts or accessories.
Consumer Law, Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and other consumer protection laws are acknowledged and respected. Below is an outline of our policies:
Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Under the ACL, you are entitled to certain guarantees, including the right to a replacement, refund, or repair for major failures. You may also be eligible for compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. These rights cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
Our Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, all express and implied warranties are excluded. Products and services are provided without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Manufacturer Warranties
Some products, such as specific models of IP security cameras and DVR/NVR equipment, may include additional manufacturer warranties. These warranties may overlap with your rights under the ACL. For non-consumer customers, the manufacturer's warranty may be your sole remedy. Please review the manufacturer's warranty terms, as they may not apply in business or commercial settings. For claims under the manufacturer's warranty, contact the manufacturer directly.
Repair, Replacement, or Refund
If you believe a product is faulty and requires repair, replacement, or a refund, please contact us. We will guide you through the process, which may include providing evidence of the fault.
Refund Policy
Refunds are not provided for change of mind. If a refund is approved, it will be issued using the original payment method after we receive and inspect the product at our warehouse.
Installed Products
We do not accept returns for products that have been used, connected, installed, or attempted to be installed. This also applies to custom-made or special buy products.
Packaging and Returns
When returning a product, ensure it is adequately packaged to prevent damage during transit. You are responsible for arranging and covering the costs of return delivery.
Duty of Care
You are responsible for the care of the product while it is in your possession. If the product is damaged while in your care, you may be liable for repair costs. If repair is not economically viable, no refund will be issued.
